I hope the elves are good at fitting things because I was seriously perplexed when it came time to pick which size to cut. I did a lot of measuring and comparing to things already in my closet. I mean, I always knew I was bit oddly-shaped but this process really confirmed it.
Stay tuned to see who ends up putting it together. If the elves aren’t here by Sunday, I might give it a go. What I mean is, I am definitely putting a skirt together this weekend! Maybe if I put out cookies? That’s the draw for Santa, right?

I never know what size I am in normal store bought clothes. The pattern sizes are even more off-beat. Good luck with the skirt sewing. And pinking shears! Awesome!
Without posting my actual size, let me just say that after measuring myself, the pattern suggested cutting a 3 sizes larger than what I buy off the rack. Three sizes!! That first cut was a doozy.
